After a season of light colored lipsticks (OMG CORALS), it's finally time to show off those bold reds and burgundys that's been hiding in the back of my lipstick drawer.
Here are my most-used (but not limited) fall lipstick essentials!
Rimmel Kate Lipstick '107' | Yves Rocher 'Mauve' | Revlon Lip Butter 'Sugar Plum' | MAC Cremesheen 'Up The Amp'
Up The Amp is a new purchase, but I'm definitely feeling it for fall. An awesome transitional color (in Hong Kong, people stare at burgundy lipstick like it's contagious - it is still hot in HK, mind). A beautiful cool-toned purple with a hint of fuschia, this lipstick marks the beginning of Fall.
Revlon's Lip Butters are my go-to lipsticks during the Fall/Winter when lips tend to get chapped. Sugar Plum is one of those sheer plum lipsticks that gives you that tint of berry color whilst moisturising your lips like no other.
The Rimmel Kate collection is one of my favorite lipstick formulas. Creamy and highly pigmented, the 107 is that perfect sexy wine red with a pink hue. One word comes to mind - wild.
Last but not least, Yves Rocher's 'Mauve' has been raved about by me since I got it in a Glossybox last year. It is the perfect burgundy with an amazing formula, and is one of my most-used lipsticks in general.
I love me some burgundy!
